Shows OK in green while the detector is calm. When it detects carbon monoxide the tile turns red and says CO alarm! with a pulsing alarm, and it tells you since when.
Use it on a dashboard you glance at, or pair it with an alert so a screen wakes up when it goes off. The battery shows in the header when the detector has one.
