Pick a meter and a period. The tile shows how much has been used so far, how that differs from the previous period up to the same point, and the whole period as bars with the previous one behind them as outlines. The running bar is striped. Under it, the whole of the previous period.
The numbers come from the meters in Energy settings. A period with nothing recorded yet says so. Small tiles keep the amount and the change.
