Energy today for a longer stretch. A switch at the top picks today, this week, this month or this year, as calendar periods like your Homey’s own reports: a week from Monday, a month from the 1st. Each row shows what that meter used so far (for electricity, what was taken from the grid), what it cost, and how that compares with the period before up to the same moment, over bars of an hour, a day or a month with the period before behind them as outlines. The header says what the period has cost so far, with a chip against the period before.
The arrows on a period’s line step back to the period before, as far back as your Homey has reports, and forward again up to the one running now. A past period shows what was paid and compares with the one before it in whole. Tapping the switch or the arrows is remembered on that screen only, so a phone can show today while a wall panel shows this month.
Amounts come from your Homey’s day, week, month and year reports, and from the meters Tiledash records where your Homey counts a meter differently. Costs use the prices of their own hours where Tiledash kept them, and your Homey’s own amounts before then. When too little of the period before is known, the comparison is left out and the tile says so. The smallest tiles keep one period and its amounts. Panels without an energy meter still count: their amount is worked out from their power and gets a small ≈ before it; tap or hover it to read why.
