Prices now and next

The electricity price now and next, today and tomorrow as coloured bars.

Fits
Any dashboard: it isn’t tied to one device
Size
6 × 4 tiles, from 2 × 2 to 12 × 7

The price per kWh now, big and in its colour, with a word for it (cheap, normal, expensive, or below zero when using power earns money) and where the price goes next. Under it, the prices of today and tomorrow as bars, with now marked and the cheapest hours banded. At the bottom: the day’s lowest, average and highest price.

The prices come from where you set them in Energy settings: your Homey’s own prices, a public day-ahead source with your markup and tax, or a fixed tariff. The header names the source. If the chosen source stops answering, the tile shows your fixed tariff instead and says so in amber.

Colours compare each hour with that day’s average: cheap is 10 % or more under it, expensive 15 % or more over it. Tomorrow’s prices appear once they are published, around 13:00, until then their place says so. Small tiles keep the price and its word. The tile only shows prices: nothing switches by itself.

What tapping the tile does. It can open a dashboard (as a page or a popup) or a flow. Until you choose, it does nothing.
