Mood

One tap sets a Homey mood, and the tile says whether it was set.

Fits
Any dashboard: it isn’t tied to one device
Size
2 × 2 tiles, from 1 × 1 to 6 × 4

Pick a mood when you add the tile and the whole tile becomes its button. It is calmer than a flow button: the tile’s own surface, with a softly glowing icon in the mood’s colour, and under the name the room the mood belongs to.

Tapping shows Setting…, then Set, or Didn’t set if Homey refused it. A mood that was set colours the icon in full for a moment.

Options

Change these in the tile’s settings: Configure… on the tile in edit mode.

Content

Label

Text

The name on the button. Left empty, it uses the mood’s name from Homey.

Up to 40 characters

Icon

An icon

The icon on the button. A scene icon unless you pick another.

Show

A choice

What the button shows.

Default: Icon and name

  • Icon and name Default

The icon and the name, with the room under the name.

  • Name only

Only the name, for a button that needs the words more than the picture.

  • Icon only

Only a large icon, for a small tile. Anyone using a screen reader still hears the name.

Layout

A choice

How the icon and the name sit on the button, when it shows both.

Default: Stacked

  • Stacked Default

The icon at the top and the name at the bottom, like a card. The best look for a tall tile.

  • Centred

Both in the middle of the tile.

  • In a row

The icon and the name side by side. A low tile switches to this by itself.

Colour

A colour

The colour of the glowing icon, and of the name once the mood is set. Until you choose one, it takes the dashboard’s accent colour.
